Ingredients
- Overripe Bananas (mashed) - 3 each
- All-purpose flour - 1-½ cups
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Dark brown sugar - ½ cup
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Milk - 1 cup
- Egg (beaten) - 1 each
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips morsels - 1 cup
- Dash to taste Salt
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients together and preheat the oven to 450°F
- Mash bananas until lightly lumpy consistency
- Add the sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and milk
- Sift in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
- Fold the mixture together so the air is still in there (folding = fluffy muffins)
- Sprinkler in chocolate chips - (or almonds/raisins/your choice of crunch)
- Line up the tray with baking cups and add 1/2 cup mixture to each - slide them into the oven
- Bake for 5 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350°F and bake for another 15-17 minutes
